What we collect
The estimate form collects your name, preferred contact method, contact details, project ZIP code, description and any optional project details or photos you choose to send. It does not require an account, street address or marketing signup.
How it is used
Information is used to review your project, contact you and prepare an estimate. Submission authorizes project-related contact only. Project details and photos are stored in the website’s protected database and file storage. They are not available through a public dashboard.
Email and preliminary analysis
When configured, the transactional email provider Resend sends the owner a notification containing project and contact details, and a separate private planning email with uploaded photos as attachments when available. Provider acceptance and delivery are tracked separately. Email copies may remain in the owner’s mailbox.
If AI assistance is activated, text project details are sent to OpenAI to interpret the requested scope, extract text-stated measurements and suggest follow-up questions. Contact fields are not included in that structured AI request; please keep unrelated personal information out of project descriptions. Uploaded photos are not sent to AI by this version. Private planning suggestions use researched cost benchmarks, deterministic quantity calculations and clearly labeled assumptions where details are missing. They are not Michael’s established rates or a customer quote. The analysis is sent privately to Michael by email; customers are never sent an automatic price. AI or estimate generation is not required to save an inquiry or send the lead notification.
Security and retention
Records and photos remain in protected server-side storage; public retrieval endpoints are disabled. Website administration is required to manage stored records or process deletion requests. Uploads have file-type and size limits. A temporary hashed network identifier is used to limit spam; the site does not use advertising analytics or marketing cookies. Inquiries remain until deleted through website administration. Contact Michael to request deletion.
